The inspector leaned back in his chair. "We'll get to that. But first, tell me, how do you explain the gold necklace found in your backpack?"

"Listen, Raj," Sharma finally spoke, "the truth will come out. It's just a matter of time. And if you're telling the truth, then I'm sure we'll find a way to clear your name. But you need to cooperate fully."
